Our clients owned a beautiful terraced house with a small lawn that was difficult to maintain.  The clients wanted to keep a small lawn but to also given the garden a 'courtyard' feel.  Storage was also an important element and a shed had to be maintained although ideally the clients didn't want it to act as the focal point of the garden.

Our solution was to use raised beds to provide height and changes of level into the garden.  The rendered walls wrap around the lawn but also help to hide the shed and provide the owners with a seating area around the well proportioned dining area.  The owners have put their own mark onto the garden through the placement of containers.
