Our client had a well established garden with a considerable slope leading to maintenance difficulties.  The garden itself had a number of mature plants and large areas of lawn in keeping with the surrounding countryside.

The brief was to provide a relatively low maintenance garden which offered year round interest but dealt with the significant slope of the garden.  We decided to terrace the garden offering three levels of interest, introduce a large entertaining area and a cascading natural waterfall.  We significantly reduced the number of materials being used in the garden whilst providing an overall Italian feel..
