my-oasis garden design - client projects

Leyton, London, 2005

The clients owned a typical long, narrow london garden that they saw as a major problem rather than an asset.  The clients were keen to utilise the space as was their young grandson.

We changed the focus of the garden by shifting the direction of the lawn through 45 degrees and breaking up its four square edges.  At the far end of the garden a beautiful office has been created which acts as a focal point and provides a cool shaded environment to enjoy.  Natural sandstone has been utilised throughout the garden replacing the old concrete slabs and provides a path that links both ends of the garden.
